Picturesque destinations
There are several secluded bays within easy reach of Port Soller. For starters, you can drop anchor in Cala Deia and go ashore to enjoy lunch at the excellent C'as Patro-March restaurant.
Book ahead and have a paella at the secluded restaurant at Foradada or maybe head north to the fantastic Torrent de Pareis gorge and swim in the warm, sheltered waters.
Another favourite stop-off point is the deserted Cala Tuent where you can meet Tony, a Mallorquin-only speaking resident who lives in a hut here. Tony always has a cold drink for visitors and has been known to cook his own freshly caught fish for you.
For a more traditional excursion there are plenty of traditional restaurants dotted along the coast, a favourite of ours is the fabulous Agapanto restaurant at the opposite end of the Port, right on the beach overlooking the bay.
Longer trips can be arranged to Pollenca or Andraxt/Palma in the south, with voyages to Menorca or Ibiza and Formentera also possible. We carry pilot books for all these destinations, which show the coastline in full detail.
On request, we can also arrange for you to take the coastal walk to Cala Tuent and collect you for a sunset sail home to Port Soller, resting weary feet on the way.
